Top 5 parks to take your kid on a scooter ride!

Kimi just arrived at our shops! In this week’s blog post we are going to tell you the top 5 best parks to go scootering with your kids.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the most popular parks in London. It has various easily roll-downs and smooth walkways for the kids. It also has a huge playground called South Drive, which has a climbing frame, swings and a slide. A suggestion is to go around the serpentine lake.

Battersea Park

Battersea Park has a 5km circular route with wide and flat paths which makes it ideal for toddlers. This park also features so many activities to do such as children’s playgrounds, mini golf or hiring a boat. We consider this one of the best parks to have a picnic in! And if you still have time you could go and visit Battersea Park Children’s Zoo.

Olympic Park

In Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park you can find different trails. Why not choose one and take your scooter along? In this park you will never get bored there is always something going on for all tastes and all ages. Visit the playgrounds and play in the fountains while you’re there. The Tumbling Bay play area has slides, swings, treehouses, rock pools, and sand pits. It also has a shaky bridge. A big sandpit and climbing swings are also included in the Pleasure Gardens section.

Crystal Palace Park

Crystal Palace is known for one thing! Dinosaurs! Crystal Palace is home to many dinosaurs. If your kid loves scooters but he/she also loves dinosaurs this is the perfect park to go to! Crystal Palace Park is also home to the national sports centre, a children’s farm, a playground, a maze, an outdoor concert stage and plenty of green space.

Poplar Community Scooter Park

Poplar Community Scooter Park is a park dedicated to kids that want to scooter. Located in Morden is open every day from 9am to 6pm. If you are insecure about other cyclists or pedestrians in public parks, this is the best choice for you. A dedicated scooter park just for kids! Perfect for younger toddlers that are learning how to scooter.

We hope you liked our suggestions and do not forget to come to one of our stores and try Kimi.
